Kids being murderously violent have been going on LONG before videogames were even invented. Yet certain dumbasses want to pin the blame on something the angst ridden teen just-so-happened to be doing at the time like playing some videogame which was most likely highly irrelevant to their violent act. Like at work a few weeks ago I heard an older co-worker talking with the manager about how she heard on the news that some 8 yr old boy hung himself over being bullied. The co-worker said she wondered how a kid could get the idea to hang himself. The manager said “It was probably those video games. They’re evil”. That comment pissed me off, all I said in response though was “No they’re not”. But the kid was getting bullied and thus he killed himself because of those evil little bastards at school and even by 8 yrs old he is still bound to know at least a few ways to kill himself. It doesn’t have to have any thing to do with video games!! And if the lazy ass school staff got off their asses and tried to do something about the bulling and/or help the victim it wouldn’t be that much of an issue. I was playing very gory and violent videogames like Mortal Kombat 2 ever since I was very little (around 7 or so). I’ve even had to deal with bullies in Middle School and yet I’m very non-violent and always avoided getting into fights at all costs and I even watched rated-R movies as a child too with guns and people getting murdered left ‘n’ right. The fact is- if the parents raised their kids so they wouldn’t be heartless assholes who live to make others miserable and windup getting shot for it, or just make sure their teenage son/daughter can’t find their parents “self protection” weapons at home it wouldn’t matter what the kids hobbies are! So those parents really need to find a new scapegoat to try and cover up their shitastic parenting.
:pacman: Video Games 4 Evaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! :pc: :brazensix::pokeball:

Exactly! It was Adam Lanza's dumb mother's idea to buy him an automatic weapon when she should have just bought him an airsoft instead if he was using a gun as a hobby up until he killed all of those innocent people. At least 95% (if not more) of gamers play violent video games and can actually differentiate them from reality. But people always think they need to complain about violent video games because one stupid teenager had to fuck it up for the rest of us.

If anything, violent video games help kids and teens and even adults take out their anger towards school, bullies, work, political issues, and many other things in a way that can satisfy their desire to shoot someone/something without anyone actually dying in real life.
Or at least that's how violent video games have helped me over the years.

If it wasn't for violent video games I wouldn't have anything to take my violence out on, there for keeping the people around me safe and me content.

After the Newtown shooting, mom tried to ban from me the game that possibly SAVED MY LIFE. Dad, who I got into the game, was on a business trip, couldn't help until he got home. Here I am now, still playing my favorite game.

That is absolutely true. Responsibility lies with the parents, not with the government.
